About Me

Samuel Parker resides in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He graduated from Southside High School in 1999. While in high school he achieved recognition for his work with oil pastels. While working full time, Sam attends Indiana Purdue University in Fort Wayne and is working toward a bachelor degree in fine arts. He and his wife of 8 years have two children.

While oil paints are Sam's preferred medium, his watercolor paintings are equally beautiful and impressive. Sam has enjoyed art classes and immerses himself in each medium he is exposed to. His printmaking and woodcarving skills are noteworthy as well. Specializing in self-portraits, Sam creates striking portraits with bold colors. He continues to strive to expand his abilities and talents. He is interested in pursuing opportunities to paint landscapes both local and abroad.

Sam has shown artwork in the Kelly Box and Packaging Corporation Art show, and Artlink. Summer of 2010, he was awarded first place in his group in the Partner's First Member Art Show.
